Dhyan Yoga Kendra owner, Subhav Sharma, has introduced an innovative form of yoga that has quickly gained popularity. This new practice involves Pranayama, Meditation.
Pranayama, derived from the Sanskrit words Pran (meaning “life force” or “vital energy”) and Ayam (meaning “expansion” or “control”)
By practicing Pranayama, one can increase stamina, enhance immunity, relieve stress.
Pranayama includes various techniques tailored to individual needs and the mind-body connection, activating specific chakras and enhancing energy flow. Key practices include:

- Chandrabhedi: Cools the body by breathing through the left nostril, related to lunar energy.
- Nadi Shodhan (Alternate Nostril Breathing): Balances the body’s energy channels and helps purify the nadis.
- Swar Vigyan: Focuses on the science of breath for mental clarity.
- Anulom-Vilom: Promotes mental tranquility by alternating breath through each nostril.
- Kapalbhati: Increases vitality and clears mental fog through forceful exhalations.
- Plavini: Involves breath retention, uplifting the energy within.
